6 to 9 months - Making a Difference HTML  |  PDF
During this time your baby will begin to get mobile. Very soon, she will be taking her first steps. Your job is to encourage her to explore in a safe way.
9 to 12 months - Making a Difference HTML  |  PDF
Parents are their baby’s first and most important teachers. But you don’t need to put pressure on yourself to teach her anything. The magic of babies is that they learn from everything around them.
12 to 18 Months - Making a Difference HTML  |  PDF
As your baby grows into a toddler, one of your most important jobs is to help him develop a positive view of himself. This is called self-esteem.
18 to 36 months - Making a Difference HTML  |  PDF
Toddlers will have temper tantrums. Knowing that this is normal does not always make it easier to deal with. One of your hardest jobs is to help your child learn self-control when she has a temper tantrum.
3 to 4 years - Making a Difference HTML PDF
All young children will break the rules sometimes, as they struggle to be independent or when they become just too tired to cope. Your child needs you to set firm, reasonable limits.
4 to 5 years - Making a Difference HTML  |  PDF
Your child will soon be entering school. The things you have been doing with her – reading, talking, singing and drawing – have helped her develop the basic concepts and skills she will use in her schoolwork.
5 to 6 years - Making a Difference HTML  |  PDF
When your child goes to school, your job as a teacher is far from over. Now is the time for you to become a partner with his teachers at school.
