The Office of the Corporate CIO provides corporate leadership for Information Management and Information Technology (I&IT) in the Ontario government.

This office works with the eight clusters to ensure that I&IT:

- Corporate Security Branch
The Business Planning and Management Reporting Unit within the Office of the Corporate CIO, supports business planning and management reporting and translates strategic business directions into operational plans for the OCCIO.
Office of the Corporate Chief Strategist
- The Office of the Corporate Chief Strategist provides leadership in developing enterprise-wide strategies, policies and standards and plans for e-government linked to government business directions.
- The Office of the Corporate Chief Technology Officer (OCCTO) provides enterprise leadership in the provision of I&IT Architecture planning, enhanced quality assurance (QA), QA processes, technology planning and adoption and management. The office also ensures specifications of critical I&IT standards are developed in an integrated manner.
- Infrastructure Technology Services manages and delivers I&IT common infrastructure and telecommunications products and services, supporting mission and business critical applications across the OPS.
- The mandate of the Corporate Security Branch is to protect and secure the government’s information and information technology infrastructure.
Eight I&IT Clusters
Land and Resources I&IT Cluster (LRC)
- The LRC provides Information and Information Technology support to four ministries:
- Aboriginal Affairs (MAA)
- Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA)
- Environment (MOE)
- Natural Resources (MNR)
- Northern Development and Mines (MNDM)
Central Agencies I&IT Cluster (CAC)
- The CAC provides Information and Information Technology support to the central organizations of Cabinet Office (CAB), the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Ministry of Revenue (MOR) and Public Infrastructure Renewal (PIR).
Community Services I&IT Cluster (CSC)
- The CSC is responsible for the provision of I&IT services to several ministries and related agencies including:
- Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration
- Ministry of Culture
- Ministry of Education
- Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs
- Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing
- Ministry of Tourism
- Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
- Ontario Seniors' Secretariat
- Ontario Women's Directorate
Health Services I&IT Cluster (HSC)
- The HSC provides services to the ministries of Health and Health Promotion.
Children, Youth and Social Services I&IT Cluster (CYSSC)
- The CYSSC provides services to the ministries of Community and Social Services and Children and Youth Services and the Office of Francophone Affairs.
Economics and Transportation Cluster
- The two clusters of Economics and Business (EBC) and Transportation (TC) are now one cluster as a result of realignment.
- The cluster provides services to the Ministries of Labour, Economic Development & Trade, Research & Innovation, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Transportation and Energy.
Justice I&IT Cluster (JTS)
- JTS is the IT cluster responsible for providing IT services to the Justice Enterprise. The Ministry of the Attorney General and the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services form the majority of the Justice Enterprise in the Province of Ontario.
Government Services Delivery Cluster
- The new Government Services Delivery Cluster is responsible for providing IT services to the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
