Ontario committed to supporting small business owners
![]() The Ontario government will continue to help hard-working convenience stores owners by cutting red tape and lowering the cost of doing business. Minister of Government Services Ted McMeekin told the annual meeting of the Ontario Convenience Stores Association in Milton that Premier McGuinty's five-point economic plan would save businesses nearly $3 billion annually in tax cuts once it is fully implemented. "We're committed to supporting small and medium size businesses, including the 10,000 convenience stores in Ontario, to give them an edge to succeed," he said. The Minister also thanked store owners for their cooperation with the new lottery regulations that came into effect in January of this year. Popular Topics
